Mr. Agbaje becomes Governor-elect Lagos state

With over 90% of votes collated across Lagos state Sharareporters can conclusively state that Akinwunmi Ambode of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has won majority of votes cast during Saturday's gubernatorial election in Lagos state.

Mr. Ambode defeated Jimi Agbaje of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to become Governor-elect.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will announce final official results later today

FG - 'Chibok girls are still alive'

Almost a year now, and the Federal Government still assuring Nigerians that our girls are still alive..

The Federal Government has come out to state that the girls are not dead due to the dowse speculations in some quarters that the missings Chibok girls have been killed following the recent recapture of most of the strong territories Boko Haram occupied with no signs  of the girls. 

At the press conference in Abuja today April 8th, the Coordinator of National Information Centre (NIC), Mr. Mike Omeri, said that hopes for the rescue of the girls is till high and that until the military concludes the recapture of all lost territories form the Boko Haram, speculations of their death would not be entertained.
